Abstract
In order to realize network functions of information appliances, after analyzing the feasibility of transplanting LwIP to embedded operating system according to the requirement of information appliances under IPv6 network, we built an information appliance development platform on ARM920T processor and VxWorks, transplant open source network protocol LwIP to the MUX layer of VxWorks to implement IPv6 protocol stack, establish communication and control over the information appliances, and so to realize the functions of embedded systems of information appliances.
