Abstract :
Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR) processors are the commonly used detectors in radar to maintain control of the false alarm rate in the face of local variations in the background noise level. For this paper, the Cell-Averaging Constant False Alarm Rate (CA-CFAR) was studied and later simulated in a Weibull environment with the use of the Signal Workbench (SPW), to determine the effectiveness of the CA-CFAR with the existence of targets
