Abstract :
This study presents microstructured emitters for radially and azimuthally polarized beams to study for the first time the divergence of the beams behind the emitter and record transverse and longitudinal components of the beams in the focus. Free-space propagation of radially and azimuthally polarized Bessel-Gauss THz beams is studied. The results are interesting for basic research and for applications in THz imaging and waveguiding.
