Abstract :
Printed-circuit radiating elements are useful for large arrays, since they can be easily and inexpensively mass produced. A 1.5:1 bandwidth printed-circuit log-periodic dipole (LPD) radiating element was developed for use in a wide-band limited-scan array. The element is useful in arrays which have scan requirements of thirty degrees or less from broadside.
