Abstract :
Microbend gratings were fabricated inside bulk glass via direct writing with femtosecond pulses from a multi-pass-cavity Ti:S laser. Critical periods, with maximum transmission loss, existed and shifted with waveguide refractive index, like fiber microbend gratings.
