Title :
Minimally invasive high resolution fibre optic interferometric sensors for temperature and pressure measurements
Author_Institution :
Appl. Optics Group, Kent Univ., Canterbury, UK
Abstract :
The author discusses the potential of fibre optic interferometric sensors for diagnostic temperature and pressure measurements. Problems in the use of these sensors (signal fading and ambiguity) are found to be overcome by the use of `white light´ signal processing
