Abstract :
The effect of receiver location uncertainty on all-pole superresoltion (SR) techniques that use aperiodic arrays will be analyzed in this paper. It will be shown that the effect of noise and element position errors on the target location estimates will be independent. An expression for the contribution of receiver location errors to the mean squared error in estimating the target locations will be derived. It will be shown that element position errors also raise the background level in the image. An expression for the rise in the background level will also be derived.
