Abstract :
Large numbers of women get into the workforces, and more and more of them are rising into leadership roles at high levels. In order to understand the significance of feminine leadership in the management, and the influence of large power distance in China on feminine leadership, this paper discusses its academic origin and induces its academic character by the way of arrangement of document within theoretical province. By introducing the definition of feminine leadership, dividing the results of existing studies into three main aspects : trait theory of feminist leadership, behavioral theories of feminist leadership, and leadership style of feminist leadership, the characteristics of feminine leadership are well understood. And Power distance in the Hofstede´s model is used to explain the reception of unequal power in China. The result shows the reasons of China becoming a large power distance country, the factors of influence of power distance on feminine leadership. The strategies of feminist leadership of China are presented in order to offer the female leaders in China great and practical suggestions which can help them be better and more professional managers.
