Abstract
The study analyses the nonuniform repartition of high voltage on the blow-out chambers of a 750 kV circuit breaker. The authors develop a 750 kV circuit breaker model, on which basis they establish the repartition of a large spectrum of impulse waves. By keeping account of the behaviour of the insulation during overvoltage waves and studying the self-capacity and stray capacity of the apparatus construction, they elaborate the circuit breaker model. On this basis, the repartition of impulse voltage waves is studied
