Abstract
It is to the more secure economics of the Community that telecommunications companies should look. For with the introduction of telecommunications reforms within the EEC there should be significant trading opportunities in telecommunications. And the hallmark of these changes is a commitment to a single European market by December 1992. In order to achieve a more liberalised telecommunications environment the following four Directives were issued by the European Community: the Terminal Equipment Directive, the Services Directive, the Open Network Provision Directive, and the Procurement Directive. These Directives are discussed with reference to the changes they will bring amongst Community members
