  • Abstract
The application of the transmission line matrix (TLM) to the modelling of electromagnetic field problems is described. A brief description of its basic features starting from simple one-dimensional problem and progressing to more complex three-dimensional problems is presented. Fundamental developments in TLM to deal with losses, nonuniformities and fine features are discussed. The use of multigrid and hybrid nodes is explained followed by a selection of results from a range of applications
