Abstract :
A new scheme with fewer components and shorter birefringent-crystal length for an optical interleaver using a ring cavity is proposed. A wide 0.5dB passband (0.91 Ãbandwidth), a large 25dB stopband (0.78Ãbandwidth), and a high channel isolation (45dB) are obtained.
