Abstract :
The model of shock induced chemical reactions by combustion of reacting powder components is considered. The shock mechanism of initialization of reaction ensures making necessary conditions of synthesis at the expense of a heating and activation of a reacting powder compact set behind the front of a shock wave. The possibilities of a computer simulation of physical-chemical processes are explored for mechanical-chemical reactions of synthesis of intermetallic compounds (TiAl3) and high-melting compounds (TiB2) immediately from powder mixtures (Ti-Al and Ti-B)
