  • Abstract
    Requirements of quality of castings in metallurgy and engineering considerably increase, resulting in a simultaneous rise in price of the cost of charge stuffs and power supplies used in cast iron production. Here, the authors describe one of major production phases of high-strength cast irons with ball-shaped graphite which is an intra-form modification of cast iron by silicon magnesium modifiers specially fitted, and of definite elemental composition
