Abstract :
Simultaneous operation of 10-channel tunable DFB laser arrays using strained-InGaAsP multiple quantum wells is described. The lasing frequencies of the 10 channels are all arranged in a single 10-GHz space with each channel maintaining a narrow linewidth of less than 3 MHz.
