Abstract :
Establishes the principles of performing time domain measurements using commercially available scalar analysers. In the analysis a number of assumptions concerning the microwave hardware were incorporated. These assumptions must be approximated to in a practical system due to limitations of the calibration/correction route. This article describes the design and implementation of a microwave test head which makes possible accurate time domain measurement using a scalar network system
