Abstract :
The author looks at ISDN from the perspective of a pan-European network. He discusses the user benefits of increased flexibility, European Commission activities, international facilities and migration from current technologies. Then he looks at the changes necessary to achieve the benefits, and finishes with a discussion of the effect on private networks
