Abstract
An integrated system design is proposed and defined for the intelligent network. It is based on the integration of the Signaling System Number 7 (SS7) network with the conventional SCPs (service control points). This results in more effective introduction of new services. A call processing model that allows multiple application services to provide real-time behavior is proposed. An application of this model of call processing to the Private Virtual Network (PVN) application services is given
