Abstract :
Coherent control on the nanoscale has gained a lot of interest in the last years in theory and experiment. In this work we present a new method of coherent control of the material polarization in a nanoplasmonic system within a few tens of femtoseconds. We show that the polarization can be turned off completely at any desired time after excitation and it remains off.
