Abstract
OPEX (OLYMPUS Propagation Experimenters) is a unique international collaborative effort. Once the spacecraft was under construction the topics under consideration by OPEX moved from the definition of the spacecraft payload to the requirements of beacon receiver design and finally of data analysis. The authors discuss the approach to the treatment of propagation data which emerged from collective discussions within the OPEX group. It described the standard software package for data processing and analysis known under the acronym DAPPER (data analysis and preprocessing for propagation effects research)
