Abstract :
Asia Pacific currently has the largest FTTH subscriber base in the world and the take up is unlikely to lose momentum. Through the Asia Pacific FTTH Council, the authors would like to share the more recent FTTH related statistics and also factors that has contributed to the success of the FTTH role out in Asia Pacific. Also, the authors would like to share the kinds of social economic impact FTTH has and will bring to the region.
