Abstract :
This paper aims to identify the servitization strategies in the PC industry in China, and to propose suggestions to the industry and government policy makers. Two servitization strategy options are identified, which are service-centric and product-centric strategies. Its strategic priority, capability requirement and organizational feature are summarized by analyzing and comparing the case study results. The results show that the choice of the servitization strategy largely depends on the core competence what have established in the PC company.
