Abstract :
This paper describes the machine work and the technology concerned with the key parts of a directional coupler in 8 mm-waveband (i.e. primary and secondary waveguide). The methods to solve some problems, such as shaping of waveguide, machining and measuring of the coupling aperture, lapping and polishing of the inner surface are presented.
