Abstract :
The U-slot rectangular patch antenna has been found experimentally to provide impedance and gain bandwidths of about 30% without the need for stacked or coplanar parasitic elements. Simulation results of the U-slot patch using FDTD analysis are presented. Comparisons with measured results are also given.
