  • Abstract
In Communication Based Train Control system, leaky waveguide can be used to transmit information between train and wayside, which can alleviate the impact of interference or deliberate attack, and improve the reliability and safety of transmission. To use wireless to transmit information can reduce the difficulty and cost of construction significantly. This paper introduced a combined transmission method which has been successfully used in the Beijing YiZhuang subway. The performance of leaky waveguide and wireless are analyzed theoretically and experimentally.
