Abstract :
In this paper, an automatic detection system of fence completeness for high-speed railway was proposed. This system uses two cameras installed on CIT (Composited Inspection Train) to shoot the fence on each side individually, and then transmit the images by optic fiber to a computer, which processes the images and recognizes the completeness of the fence automatically. The system will recode any loss or breakage as a reference for maintenance. The architecture of the system and the detection algorithm are introduced in this paper, at last the experiment results are given, which show that the system proposed in this paper detects the breakage of the fence efficiently with very few incorrect judgments.
