Abstract
In this paper, we develop a procedure to factorize a broadband signal into the product of a narrow-band modulator and a wide-band carrier. The approach is based on using the Singular Value Decomposition theorem and the Discrete Fourier Transform. Finally, some experiments on synthetic and speech signals are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
