Abstract :
This paper deals with the investigation on microstrip antenna in the VHF range using ferrite as subs -trate material, thereby giving rise to a reduced size practicable antenna. Samples of Manganese Magnesium ferrite have been developed whose permeabilities and permittivities are very much suited for such antenna, which is very simple in shape, light in weight with added advantage of higher band-width and omnidirectional pattern.
