  • Abstract
High-speed and high-capacity DWDM optical networks require efficient and fast restoration from multiple-link and node failures as well as single-link/node failures. This paper presents a set of important standards of measurement and functional characteristics, which can be used to analyze distributed network restoration algorithms.
