Abstract :
Whispering-gallery superconducting dielectric resonator modes have been studied. A method for the determination of the resonant frequencies and the maximum quality factor of the WC modes of the cylindrical SDR is presented. Calculated results show that the mods energy confined between the caustic cylindrical DR boundary occurred; only the diameter ratio of the shielding cylinder and dielectric rod was properly arranged. A phenomenology explanation is given.
