Abstract :
Wind turbine generator system (WTG) is a complex nonlinear system involving some uncertain disturbances, and its working states change multifarious. A fact was discovered that it showed the typical feature of hybrid system by analyzing its characteristics. Therefore, the hybrid dynamic model of WTG was built based on theory of hybrid automata, at same time hybrid control system was designed for solving the problem of the global automation according to the WTG control strategy. Emulation results present the hybrid automata model can accomplish global simulation of WTG, and the designed hybrid control system fulfills the demand of WTG global control. Moreover, the validity and practicability of applying hybrid system theory in the field of wind power are demonstrated.
