Abstract
A triple face market simulator was developed in 2002 modelling the physical network, the market regulation and the financial processes of the deregulated electricity market (MEKSZ - Hungarian energy trade simulator). With the help of this tool different bidding, buying and trading strategies can be tested for power plants, distribution companies, large customers and traders. In the paper we introduce two simulation cases: effect of the small gas engines (recent case) and the operation of wind farms (planned).
