Rescuability Assessment Model on Casualties and Application Based on RFID

In emergency management, the timely and effective assessment is of great significance. Although the research on assessment in the evolvement of an incident has just begun, the present model cannot be put into practice since the data can only be acquired by experience or estimation by experts. In this paper, a new assessment model on casualties is proposed based on RFID system which can provide some data. The model can help the decision makers know the real-time situation and whether the trapped are worth saving in different stages. Finally, a practical example is given as a case study.
