            Abstract : 
A truck gearbox was chosen as research object of the text. 3D model of transmission gear was firstly built up by using SolidWorks software, and the Simulation module was utilized for modal analysis of transmission gear by using finite element method. The modal forms and deformation extent of transmission gear under several frequencies were gained and analyzed the maximum displacement deformation of gear with loading. It provides a reference for reverse engineering and optimization design of transmission gear.
