Abstract
A reliable and computationally-efficient technique to predict RCS of bodies of resonant size is presented, The technique is based on the CG method and uses FFT to evaluate the convolution integrals it requires. Comparing this technique with MM the computer time is reduced orders of magnitude and storage of large matrices is not required. Therefore problems of bodies of arbitrary geometry with sizes of several wavelengths can be handled rigurously. To check the method results of RCS of circular and square plates are presented and compared with analytical or measured results avalaible in the literature [1], [2], [3]. Excelent agreement is obtained.
