Abstract
The paper describes the use of OptionFinder, a group decision support system, on a complex, sensitive human resources project in a large corporate setting. By designing OptionFinder into the process, the project leaders could quickly and effectively incorporate valuable line management input into the data gathering, analysis, and decision-making steps. As a result, the project team was able to give senior management just what they had asked for-a speedy, effective, and highly visible design and implementation of a problem solution which line managers would understand and support
