Abstract :
Along with the rapidly developing rural economy and the change of people´s consumption concept, rural electricity consumption increased rapidly. The scientific prediction for rural electricity consumption is the decision-making basis and guarantee for plan in the next reconstruction of rural distribution network. There are many common prediction methods, which has its own relative merits and disadvantages. In this paper, Grey-Markov model is applied to predict rural electricity consumption. And the result shows that this predictive method has better precision and it is practical. The paper provided a scientific basis for the planned development of rural power system.
