Industries are demanding that engineering graduates must have certain skills. The author discusses his experience in teaching an electronics course whose outcomes are expected to develop some of desirable skills. Both the instructor and the students independently assess the learning experience of the course and rate the level of skill achievements. The results of these assessments are analyzed and presented
