Abstract :
This paper proposes a conceptual model of inter-organizational relationship, information sharing and new product development (NPD) performance, and conducts empirical study based on the survey of domestic manufacturing enterprises. The results show that trust, commitment and interdependence have positive impacts on information sharing, commitment and information sharing have positive impacts on NPD performance, trust indirectly affects NPD performance through commitment and information sharing, and information sharing also plays an intermediate role on the relationship between interdependence, commitment and NPD performance. The results will provide some references for domestic enterprises that are going to improve NPD performance through inter-organizational information sharing.
