Abstract :
That magnetite preselection with discarding tailings can effectively improve the grinding ore grade, which reduces the production costs, so we designed a kind of new magnetic roller. The magnetic separator is constituted by several modular magnetic rollers, whose magnetic system with fan-shaped and annular magnet, Considering magnetic field strength and magnetic depth, this paper manufactured a small prototype based on characteristic theory of magnetic field, then had an experimental study on lean magnetite of Baiyunebo West Mine. Through the discarding tailings test, TFe grade increase 8 percentage points, tailings grade is less than 13%, and tailings cast rate is 56%.
