Abstract
The authors´ work illuminates some problems encountered while on-site tests of high voltage insulation, especially such as that of measuring transformers. It has been proved that conventional, double-screened Schering bridge, operating with relatively low test voltage (e.g. 1-3 kV) can fulfil the requirements concerning the reliability of readings in high voltage environment, their broad interpretation, as well as in safety and manoeuvrability in operation
