Abstract
In this paper the Equivalence Principles Method for the computational simplification of electromagnetic models, is assessed for its suitability for occupational exposure predictions from HF transmission sites. The Equivalence Principles Method and the Finite Element Method (FEM) were used to explore the near-field coupling of a HF array on a human, for compliance assessment to the international standards and regulation defined by the International Commission on Non-Ionising Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). A series of numerical simulations were performed based on the BBC HF array ´C located in Skelton, UK.
