Abstract
Any enterprise consists of a number of business processes. Business process is a horizontal process that links different work processes in one or more functional areas of the organization to deliver the output of the enterprise. A work process consists of a set of activities that are performed to produce a certain output of the process discussed. This paper discusses the problem of business identification and aims to introduce a technique called the process table to find a solution to the problem mentioned. This technique concretizes each business process of the enterprise by representing it as a linkage that connects a group of work processes performed in different functional areas. Business processes ¿Surgery¿ and ¿Sales_Claim¿ are used as examples to test our technique.
