Abstract

Information audit (IA) provides strategic direction and guidelines for the management of an organization´s information resources management. Though some of the IA methods are discussed, the practical study is seldom. This paper put forwards a synthetical IA approach, which is tailored and integrated based on the existed methodologies. Next the paper applies the method to a case study that demonstrates how to adapt the methodology to implement IA for a Chinese large-size company. Finally the paper summaries the conclusions of this study.
