Abstract :
The paper presents the multipurpose UWB transceiver, which can be applied in high-speed communications, radars or positioning applications. The paper describes the design of the impulse generator, responsible for impulse transmission, antennas, input amplifier, sampler circuit, time delay circuit and differential edge generator destined for control of the sampler. The paper presents the circuits´ topology and discussion on the impulse distortion minimization methods employed in the presented circuits.
