Abstract :
Smart Microgrid (MG) systems require the development of new control strategies in order to provide of autonomous operability in their processes and self-diagnosis in case of different operation ranges. The integration and deep penetration of Distributed Generation (DG) and the suddenly changes in the load during the transition´s system generates different dynamic behaviours, requiring the implementation of hierarchical control loops to distribute efficiently the currents through the power converters involved. This document describes a hierarchical control for load sharing in the DC-DC and DC-AC converters of a MG using petri nets to distribute the local controller actions. Different study cases are presented according to the grid connected and isolated operation modes of MG. Results in simulation show the flexibility of the proposed strategy under multiple changes in the system. Finally the conclusions and future work are given.
