Abstract :
Consideration is given to the application of the method of extremal statistics to the problems of calculating the rate of gas leakage from the hermetically sealed substation devices and other parameters monitored. Attention is also given to the software (computation environment) for microprocessor diagnostic systems and the equipment of preprocessing the readings of digital sensors. The field of application covers technical systems of diagnostics and monitoring as applied to electrical substations. The present work is carried out within the framework of the project of developing industrial diagnostic systems for substations rated at 110-1150 kV
