With the rapid development of information technology and values diversification, development tendency of manufacturing automation presents the globalization, the virtualization and the green, virtual green manufacturing technology is precisely one kind of advanced manufacture pattern which is born under this tendency. The Connotation of virtual green manufacturing is introduced in the article, putting forward using virtual manufacturing (VM) in green manufacturing, elaborating the present situation of virtual green manufacturing in domestic and foreign, and probing its application in the manufacturing.
