Abstract :
The authors describe the principle and design of an AC voltage sensor and a pressure sensor using a short column-type piezoelectric transducer. The sensors were designed, and a sinusoidal voltage measuring system or a mechanical stress detecting system using them was manufactured for trial. When electric stress was applied, this sensor accurately detected the mechanical strain of this piezoelectric transducer, on which a foil-type strain gauge was cemented. When the load with three rates of mechanical stress was applied to this sensor, the output voltage increased in proportion to the load with the rate of mechanical stress
