Signal reconstruction via under-sampled signals

Abstract :
In radar (or sonar), several situations lead to the processing of slightly under-sampled signals. A new processing technique for processing M under-sampled bursts has been developed. The simulation results indicate that it allows: removal of Doppler ambiguity in order to define the true radial velocity of the target; reconstitution of the unambiguous Doppler spectrum even in the presence of complex spectra, multitarget situations or even Doppler superpositions due to various ambiguity foldings; and optimum processing gain
